Foot Measurement Guidelines

If you need to send us details of your feet to have us recommend a shoe style and size, our preference is that you use our Foot Tracing Template if you have a printer and A4 paper. If you don't have a printer but do have A4 paper, use our Foot Tracing Guidelines instead. If you have neither, measure your feet with a tape measure as follows. Be sure to take separate measurements for both feet, since feet often differ.
Foot Length
Place the tape measure lengthways under your foot on a hard floor with the measure running from the middle of your heel to the tip of your longest toe (usually the big toe but sometimes the second toe).
Foot Width
Place the tape measure under the width of your forefoot from beside the big toe joint where the toe meets the rest of your foot (the metatarsophalangeal joint).
Run it perpendicular to the length of your foot to the point where it aligns with the same joint of your little toe.
